Booker leaned in close to emphasize his bulk and size and for one particularly mean moment, Nicky considered driving his knee somewhere very unpleasant and flipping the man off of him and onto the concrete. It was a brief moment, though, the lip that was just starting to twitch upwards shocked still by the kiss to his nose.

Instead of lashing out, he chuckled and reached out to grab the handrail as he stood up. Calling Nicky by that particular nickname made any residual twinges of snippishness melt away and he reached out to cup the back of Booker's neck, pulling him in for another long, slow kiss.

As soon as it ended, he nipped at the corner of Booker's lips before turning and sauntering up the stairs and over to the lounge chair he'd left.
