She was much less jumpy than she had been, because while they might have, essentially, kidnapped her in the first place, they'd also come back for her when she was in actual trouble. Which might have been a by-product of going after Andy who was also in trouble, but it was still enough, and proof that the adage 'it's not paranoia if they really are out to get you' was a true one had done quite a bit to settle her.
Mostly she was just jumpy now when they managed to sneak up on her, something that she didn't think they actually tried to do, it was just that the rest of them were used to each other and she wasn't yet.
Which mostly meant that Booker was greeted with a yelp and an exclamation of: "One of y'all is going to give me a damn heart attack one of these days, I swear." There was no actual bite to the statement, it was a vent as much as anything else, but she shook her head a moment later, "But no, I wasn't. Hell, I don't even think my folks had met yet." She added, scratching the back of her neck.
