[ It took half an hour to return the truck because traffic and the receptionist was slow. Booker did his best to be patient but Nicky was waiting for him.
Then he had to take public transportation back which slowed him down even more. He was a little impatient when he got back, taking the stairs two at a time to get up to his room.
And there was Nicky, making it a little home. Booker ached with love for him right then. ]
